Salesian publishing center SALVE with co-founders, institution of Saint Frances of Sales Gymnasium Želimlje, institution of Janez Smrekar project SKALA, Mladinski ceh, is part of Slovenian Salesian mission. Saint John Bosco, the founder of Salesian Society dedicated all his life for education of the youth, which often is abandoned and pushed to the edge of the Society. In his education don Bosco, as an fruitful educator, was using books and other forms of communications for new and authentic ways of apostolate and spreading of the Good News. Faithful to his example, we too develop and use enormous possibilities of communication system for education and proclamation of the Gospel. SALVE, together with Catechetic centre is in the service of the Church, mostly in the field of Catechesis and parish, especially Youth Pastoral. In the New Evangelization we are incorporating with:

• striving for christian values;
• preparing of materials for catechesis and education;
• qualifying of youth workers catechists to use audio-visual means;
• editing and publishing of books and magazines with positive messages for children, youth and adults;
• mediating and sale of different didactical and liturgical instruments for a better and quality work.
